One civilian killed, another wounded in Houthi shelling

Artillery shelling fired by the Iran-linked Houthi rebels killed Monday a civilian and wounded another south the port city of Hodeidah, local sources said.

The shelling indiscriminately targeted Al Durayhimy district, leaving one civilian dead and another critically wounded, the sources said.

According to locals, a civilian named Salem Derwish was killed when an artillery shell hit his home at dawn on Monday.

Reports say dozens of residents in Al Durayhimy district have fallen victim to Houthi shelling, landmines and snipers.
