56 CSOs condemn world’s deafening silence regarding targeting IDPs’ camps and residential areas in Marib

56 Yemeni Civil Society Organizations condemned on Sunday the world’s silence with regard to attacks launched by the Iran-aligned Houthis on IDPs camps and populated areas in Marib city.

In a press release, 56  Yemeni CSOs denounced the constant missile and artillery attacks fired by Houthis on residential areas and IDP’s camps, leaving scores of civilians and IDPs killed or wounded.

They strongly condemned Saturday’s missile attack on Al Rawdah neighborhood that killed one child and left 5 others seriously wounded.

“Such crimes are a blatant violation of human rights and international law,” they said.

The 56 CSOs called on UN Security Council, UN Panel of Experts, UN envoy to Yemen, and human rights organizations to condemn Houthi crimes against civilians and express a firm stance on these crimes.
