Republican Yemen

The Iran-backed Houthi rebels launched on Sunday indiscriminate shelling on populated villages in Al Bayda province, central Yemen, local sources said.

Houthi insurgents launched artillery shells on Al Masawea’a district, leaving a woman sustaining serious injuries and causing collateral damage to several homes and cars, Almotamer Press cited local sources.

According to the source, gunmen affiliated with the Houthi militia stormed the district and looted properties that belong to locals in the area.

Since last year, the Houthi rebels have been reportedly committing atrocities against residents in Al Bayda province, including abducting and torturing their rivals, looting their properties, and blowing up their homes.
