A landmine planted by the Iran-backed Houthi militias killed on Friday two civilians in the northern province of Al Jawf, September Net reported.
The Yemen National Military Web (YNMW) said the two civilians were killed while they were in a truck when a Houthi-laid mine went off on the main road in the district of Khab al-Shaghf.
The victims were killed instantly before medics could move them to a nearby hospital, according to the source.
This is the second time in a week unsuspecting civilians fall victim to Houthi landmines in the same district.
Two days prior to the incident, a woman was killed and another female child injured in a mine explosion in the same area, local sources said.
