One child was killed and two others wounded on Sunday in Al Dhalea province as a result of indiscriminate shelling launched by the Houthi group, Iran’s proxy in Yemen.

Seven-year-old Amira Ahmed Abdullah was killed due to Houthi-launched shelling that randomly targeted populated areas in Al Fakher town, north Al Dalea governate, a Al Deal Media Office said.

Amira’s five-year-old brother, Ibrahim, and Mustafa Walid Obaid, 7 years, were admitted to a nearby hospital as they sustained critical injuries, the source said.

This is the second crime in a week to be committed by the militias against children in the southern province of Al Dalea.
