Five-year Child Killed, Her Mom Wounded due to Houthi Shelling

A five-year-old girl was killed and her mom wounded Wednesday due to Houthi indiscriminate shelling on residential areas in the central province of al-Bayda.

Sources say child Farah Saleem Al Haysi was killed and her mom, who is pregnant, was seriously injured when a shell launched by Houhis, Iran’s proxy in Yemen, hit their house in al-Saoma’ district.

This comes amid fierce clashes between the Houthi rebels and government forces in al-Bayda where government forces made advances and captured areas previously controlled by the militia.
