Houthi Rebels Target KSA with Missiles and Drones, Two Wounded

Two Saudi people were wounded on Saturday due to shrapnel of intercepted missiles launched by the Iran-aligned Houthi insurgents towards Riyadh and the city of Jazan.

Saudi Arabian air defences intercepted two ballistic missiles on Saturday night launched by the Iran-aligned Houth, leaving two civilians wounded in Riyadh,Saudi Press Agency (SPA) cited a statement by a civil defence spokesman.

A military spokesman for the rebels confirmed on Sunday that the militia forces had launched rockets and drones targeting sites inside the kingdom.

This comes after the United Nations called for a ceasefire to protect civilians from the novel coronavirus pandemic, an appeal that was welcomed by Saudi Arabia, the legitimate government of Yemen and the Houthis militias
