Houthi Shelling kills one resident, wounds three others in Taiz

Republican Yemen

One resident was killed and three others wounded, all of them from the same family, on late Friday when an artillery shell hit their house in Old Airport area west of the besieged city of Taiz.

Local news networks said the shell was launched by the Iran-backed Houthi rebels.

Taiz city, which has been under a Houthis-imposed lethal siege for almost five years now, is the most Yemeni city that suffers from Houthi atrocities where thousands of civilians have fallen victim to their heinous crimes ranging from snipping and landmines to indiscriminate shelling.
