Houthis Abducted Civilian, His Wife in Sana’a

Iran-aligned Houthi militia raided the house of a civilian on late Sunday and abducted him and his wife the rebel-held capital Sana’a, Khabar Agency, a local news site, reported.

The militia raided the house of Abdullah Qaed Altawili on Taiz Street, using female squads known as Zainabiat, and took him and his wife to an unknown destination, the local site said.

According to local sources, the militia has lately intensified campaigns of home raids and random arrests as well as setting up new checkpoints in the streets of Sana’a for fear of protests that may take to the streets against the de facto authority of Houthis.
