Two Paramedics Killed in Mine Explosion in Hodeidah

Two paramedics were killed and three civilians wounded, including a woman, in Hays district, south the port city of Hodeidah.

Local sources said two paramedics were killed and a driver wounded on Saturday when a landmine planted by the Iran-backed Houthi rebels exploded while they were in a car heading to rescue a man and his wife who had been shot by a Houthi sniper in the district of Hays.

Meanwhile, the militia has intensified mortar attacks on residential and military areas south the key port city of Hodeidah.

A military source said the Iran-aligned Houthi coup militia launched on Friday heavy artillery shelling on army’s positions in several areas of Hodiedah, violating UN-sponsored ceasefire truce in the western province of Hodiedah.
