Report: Brutal Violations against Abducted Women in Houthi-run Prisons

A report released by Geneva-based Sam Observatory for Rights and Liberties has revealed atrocious violations committed against abducted women in Hothi-run incarceration.

In its report released Wednesday, underlined “What is left for us”, the organization said it has monitored sites, including deserted sites, used for detentions and forced disappearance where abducted women are held.

The report said that those abducted women endure physical, psychological torture, citing statements from the abductees’ relatives.

The organization stressed that Houthi rebels must allow human rights organizations and activists to meet the abductees in incarceration and check on their health conditions as well as releasing the ones who are held on unfounded or political charges.
