Military sources said the Iranian-backed Houthis have established four camps dedicated to recruiting underage teen fighters.
Military sources confirmed that the four camps are located in the province of Hodeidah and overseen by some Iranian experts, according to Alomanaa Net.
” Based on the obtained information, the first camp is located in Alarej Farms in Al-duha district, north al-Hodeidah province. The second one is located in Abal area, in the district of Bajil, while the third and fourth ones are in Bura Natural Reserve and Almwasalat Street,” a military official spoke on condition of anonymity.
” The objectives of establishing these camps are to train underage teens in booby trapping operations and fighting as well,” he added.
Last month, some families said that their children had gone missing, some of them were reported to join the militia.
Human Rights reports accused Houthi rebels of recruiting and forcing children into fighting in the battlefields, confirming that thousands of children have been recruited by Houthis since the outbreak of the war, which is considered a blatant violation of human rights.
