National Army Forces Advance in Houthi Stronghold of Saada

The Army Forces have managed on Tuesday to seize control over a number of areas in Baqim district in the Houthi militia stronghold of Saada in northern Yemen.

Backed by the warplanes of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition, the army forces have launched a large-scale offensive against the Iran-backed Houthi militia, capturing a number of strategic areas in the district of Baqim, according to official sources.

The official military sources said that dozens of Houthi militia fighters were killed or wounded while two of their affiliates were captured, including a cameraman at the militia-run Al-Masirah TV channel.

Clashes and confrontations were still ongoing, as the coalition Apaches and jets also waged a number of aerial attacks against the gatherings of the Houthi militia fighters in the district of Baqim, causing great human and material losses on the ranks of the Iran-backed militia in their stronghold of Saada.
